Gattopardo is defined by taupe soft velvet and a gold-plated edge on the headboard frame. The velvet covers the bed, the same taupe runs onto the wardrobe, and an upholstered chair and bench sit alongside. Matching bedcover sets complete the look, so the textiles carry as much of the design as the furniture.

A padded bed with removable covers

The Plissè Bed by Dall'Agnese has a headboard and frame padded with polyurethane foam and covered in bonded fabric. Its covers are removable, and a self-standing slatted base is included. Feet come in clear Plexiglass, solid wood or black painted metal. It forms the centre of several italian bedroom suites.

The Supernova Dresser by Dall'Agnese, designed by Signorotto+Partners, has a 20 mm particle-board structure joined at 45° and an epoxy powder-coated metal base, 150 mm high. The Ronda Nightstand by Dall'Agnese is built in curved plywood, 20 mm, and can take a top in tempered mirror glass, plain, smoked or bronze. A bronze mirror top sits well with gold detail. For the living room, a modern italian sideboard can carry the same tones.
