Aida is a classic living room that paired brass with high-quality woods and traditional materials, and this page explains how to plan a room in that style. The photographs below show Aida compositions. Above them, current Francesco Pasi pieces cover the sofa, the TV wall and the coffee table.
How should a TV wall look in a classic room?
It should sit low, stay centred and match the rest of the furniture. A TV base finished like the sofa keeps the screen from dominating the wall. The New Deco TV Base with Central Door by Francesco Pasi has gold or silver leaf applied by hand over a structure of 25 mm cherry blockboard in seven layers. Leave the wall above it clear, or hang a single mirror.
Which sofa and table complete the group?
A long carved sofa and a carved table in the same finish complete it. The Gran Guardia Sofa with 6 Cushions by Francesco Pasi measures H 104 x W 240 x D 92 cm, its frame carved entirely by hand by master craftsmen. Check width and depth against any other high end italian sofa before you decide.
The Gran Guardia Coffee Table 2038 by Francesco Pasi is carved by hand in solid cherry and takes gold leaf or silver leaf. Use the same leaf on the TV base.
What did Aida show about materials?
Metal and wood should share the work. Aida set brass beside high-quality woods and traditional materials, and today leaf on cherry gives a similar balance. Choose gold leaf if the fabrics in the room are warm, and silver if they are cool. Complete luxury living room sets show it at room scale.
