Daydream is the modern living room collection covered here, and its signature was makassar ebony reflected in diamond-cut mirrors. The gallery below shows its sofas, armchairs, buffets, consoles and television bases. Above are three current pieces with the same depth, from Francesco Pasi and Cantori.

A walnut wall for the television

The Icon Wall System with TV Opening, Medium, by Francesco Pasi gives the television a frame of Canaletto walnut. Sides, bottom and frame are 25 mm walnut blockboard veneered in Canaletto walnut, and the doors and drawers are 28 mm solid wood with the same veneer. Finishes run from Sahara and Terra to Testa di Moro and Fumo di Londra, in 100 Gloss or matt. Daydream set dark wood beside refined ceramics and silk-shaded lamps; walnut keeps that depth today.

Modular seating facing the wall

The Gabrielle Modular Sofa by Cantori lets you set the seating to the width of the wall unit. Its frame is beech and poplar plywood, padded with high-density foam in two densities under a highly elastic upper layer. The cushions use non-deformable, variable-density synthetic layers. Room groupings are collected under italian living room furniture.

Mirror, wood or marble on the low table

The City Low Round Coffee Table by Cantori picks up the Daydream mirrors. Its top can be mirror, wood or marble, on a central base of cold-tapered metal. Mirror repeats the reflections of the old collection; wood or marble ties the table to the walnut wall. When you move on to the bedroom, see the italian modern bedroom set.
