This page covers the Charme deluxe classic bedroom and the pieces that carry its look forward. Charme set a wide upholstered bed against a tall wardrobe, padded stools and an armchair. In their place you will find a leather-headboard bed, a shaped chest and a carved dressing table mirror.
Seating as part of the bedroom
A deluxe bedroom has somewhere to sit besides the bed. Charme added upholstered stools and an armchair to its bed and wardrobe, which made the room a place to dress and read. Natural wood was paired with fine fabrics throughout. When planning a similar room today, leave space for a chair near the window and a stool by the dressing mirror.
A softer bed and a shaped chest
A leather headboard keeps the padded comfort of the old Charme bed. The New Deco Bed with Leather Headboard by Francesco Pasi has a shaped leather headboard on a solid cherry structure, 45 mm. The Opera Shaped Chest of Drawers, 3 Drawers, also by Francesco Pasi, measures H 106 x W 146.5 x D 61 cm, with 80 mm solid wood uprights whose carving is finished by hand. Compare both with other high end bedroom furniture.
A dressing corner with a carved mirror
A dressing mirror with its own drawers keeps make-up and jewellery in one place. The Gran Guardia Dressing Table Mirror, 3 Drawers by Francesco Pasi measures H 99 x W 118 x D 27 cm, and its carving is made entirely by hand in solid cherry. Set it near a window for daylight. Pieces for other rooms are gathered under high end furniture.
