Read here how the Absolute modern bedroom uses moka tamo burl veneer, printed leather and chrome, and which current pieces work with it. The photographs below show the Absolute bed, bench, dresser, chest, night table and vanity desk, including a close view of the vanity top.
Absolute pairs moka Japanese tamo burl veneer with Moresco-printed upholstery. The print came in first grade leather, nabuk, velvet or suede, with high-gloss polyester detailing and chrome stainless steel feet. Burl figure, a printed hide and polished metal give the room three distinct textures. Plain bedding stops the printed leather from competing.
The Mochi Bed by Epoque, from the Exence line, has an upholstered headboard 15 cm deep with steel inserts, and its base is covered in steel. A lift-up storage base opens a box under the slats. The steel trim answers the chrome feet of Absolute. It fits within high end bedroom furniture planned around metal accents.
The Glass Up Wardrobe by Dall'Agnese has hinged doors with an aluminium frame in black or titanium and tempered glass, 4 mm, in transparent grey or bronze. Height and width can be reduced to fit the wall. The J'Adore Bedside Table by Cantori measures H 52 x W 59 x D 38 cm, with steel feet and a central element in champagne silver leaf. It is one example of a designer bedside table that adds metal without chrome.
Yes. Height and width can be reduced. It is also made with sliding doors in the same frame.
